Our poor 400 do so horrible for stock now adays. Its a real good thing they make mods. Oh well honda is bound to put out a new quad sooner or later.

i know im getting sick of atv sport putting the banshee down because it is old i know im bike is alot wuicker then what they have and if im not mistaken in that article where they talk about the looks of the bikes they say that the banshee cant even be in that b/c it is old its like it doesnt even matter yes i knoe it really hasnt been changed since 87 but either has the 250r and they still say greatest bike it doesnt get called old yes i know the 250r is a all around better and the shee has flaws but there is no greater feeling the punching it it like 3 or 4 gear and let the powerband go crazy on a shee that right there is what got me hooked on riding my shee

the specs were also diff for the kfx and z 400 in one atv sport im not sure if its that one or not

I got the magazine and read it all. but there a a few things that I find confusing. i think that thier off on a few specs :eek:

ya, i don't think the predator would be about 1 sec. faster than the shee on the 0-45

i think they just put down the shee cause the epa or and the stupid bunny huggers want to do away with 2 strokes and i guess there slipping all the mags some cash to make them look bad, imo

the dude on the banshee must not know how to ride a powerband

the z/kfx diff. shows how inaccurate their testing is, they should have just tested one and called it the same, but the avg. rider prolly doesnt even know that

When I ride my bro's shee that how i feel. It has A TON of power once on the powerband and it takes you for a ride. 4th pinned is fun and going up hills just letting the tires spin is a nice feeling.

In the latest issue of ATV rider, they list a bunch of differences between the KFX and the Z, one of them being that the Z comes equipped with a recoil backup starter, but the KFX does not.

Do these people even see the quads before they do a writeup on it?

All the mags dog the EX these days. I went to a XC race in Columbia Mo. this weekend and probably 70 percent of the bikes there were EXs and they kicked plenty of butt. Guys quit wasting time with the mags, The tests are so bogus I don't think those guys even ride the quads.

i'm sure they ride them, and i love to see the comparisons, but someone will always disagree with the results,,,there are conditions that they coulda raced in or done their riding that woulda made the EX look better, but the bottom line is that the EX hasn't changed since 99 and they like to see change and improvements,,,i would like to see a shootout from fall 98 or spring of 99 on sport quads, and i'm sure all us EX owners woulda be very proud of the things that were said about the EX then,,,but the bottom line is that it's time for Honda to step up to the plate, again, and put one outta the park like they did when the R and EX's came out, it's exciting waiting, but i'm getting IMPATIENT!:grr :mad: :tired:
