Shocks are valved for 180-190ib pro rider I weigh 150-165 shocks were fine

the b+b motor is ported and polished beats 310's has a billit clutch basket special hybrid transmission for more top speed (88 1st to 4th 86 5th-6th) try to do that combo with a granny and you will find out it will not work unless u know the trick(and.im the only one who has done it)

I just put a brand new bottom end together with this combination,,, are you telling me im going to ruin my very rare bottom end?????

everything felt good when spinning and shifting by hand

if something is wrong I sure would appreciate your "trick" as to not ruin a item that took me months to find...

so please share your info with the people that are trying to keep there 250rs running with what we have left for parts and gears

u sure its not a 86 tranny now im not so sure most of the tranny it came in a 88 bottom end, and I have a set of new replacement cases that its installed in,
the thing that makes me wonder is the tranny thati took out of the 88 in didn't have the same collar for the 6th gear main shaft, but the shaft was a different length from a 86 I had.. so now im real concerned...

please put some info about this out it might save someone like me a bottom end

now that im thinking about this... I might have a 87 tranny,
my counter shaft is slightly longer then the 86 setup I have on the shelf and I have a 24 tooth main 5th gear instead of the 25 tooth 86

basically I have a bunch of gears that im trying to make sense out of most were in a parts lot and to be honest im still not quite sure of everything I have

If u have the cases together u don't have the combo I'm talking about u can just take a 86 5th and 6th and put it on a 88 counter and main u also need another gear for either the counter or main I forget which one LOL but the dig bone engagement is rotated and if u try doing it with the wrong gear the cases will not close up leaving about 10 mm of space in the center cases and if u try boktibg the cases together the gears will bind and won't spin at all

so if the granny spins. U are ok

This seems like some real secret squirrel ***** that should probably just be shared with everyone if it actually improves the R...

It improves top speed and reliability over the OEM 86 setup but there still has the gap in rpms from 4th to 5th
