I know this is a ex forum, but alot of you have 250r or have had 250r experience,

Was wondering what they use to bolt the (hinson)cover to? Do they have a piece that, they weld to the case, that the cover bolts to? can you buy that seperate?(obviously they cut out the center) Does anybody have pics of their hinson cover up close? I have access to machine shop, and was wondering if I could save money by doing myself....post some closeups if you have them... or email me at tjayandlisa@hotmail.com

no, hinson used to do that. now they sell you a new case that has been modified. I think duncan still uses your stock cases. Or you send them yours and they send you a case that they already modified. the hinson cases are about $500 now also. I'd try duncan, or ct.
