kfx450r front shocks /400ex

how will kfx450r dual rate front shocks work on a 400 for trail riding in the hatfield area. (rocky) would they be an improvement on my stock non race application?thanks

My KFX450R shocks on my EX worked perfectly on my EX and my KFX450R.

They are a HUGE improvement over stock and are better than many lower-end aftermarket shocks. They are totally worth it.

They were the best upgrade I have done to my EX.

they work great. had to cut off the upper brackets and make new ones and weld them in place.

I trimmed a bit off the top of the schock. Glad to hear they worked out.

i thought about doing that but it was a full 1/4" . i even put an alligator hydraulic spreader to try to open the top mount some but just didn't work right. i used some 1" box tubing and cut the bottom out. looks stock besides the paint. the color is fairly close but when it's muddy who cares.
