ive got a 2008 trx450er with the factory muffler with the baffle removed and K&n filter and the snorkel removed...right now i have a stage 2 dyno jet kit installed...should my pilot be bumped up..thats one thing the kit didnt come with..it runs rich i am thinking about opening the air box lid a little more..my plug is really black and i have popping on deceleration but and when i shut it off when its cold it pops really loud when i shut it off...it does feel like ive lost top end(could just be me) but bottom end is great..should my jetting be lower..

main jet is 128
pilot is stock
needle is 4th position
mixture screw is 1.75 turns

oh and the popping i here i believe its from being to rich... unburned fuel in the exhaust maybe...it will blow alot of black from the exhaust when its cold too...really bad with the choke on

Ok lets clarify a few things:
1. Throw away the dynojet stuff and put the stock stuff back in. The dynojet numbers are totally different, inaccurate and the needles junk.

2. Main jet for an 08 is supposed to be a 162 stock. Keihin jets Id say bump to a 165-168, 170 if you remove the lid.

3. Your way to rich obviously. Probably b/c you c-clip on needle is to low at the 4th notch. Go back to the 3rd.

a 128 DJ main is equal to about a137.5 keihin so your actually lean..

Hope that helped, need a bit more info.
