kfx400 jetting

2003 kfx400 with aftermarket exhaust and stock filter. If i put k+n filter and remove lid how much do i go up on the jets?

I might not be much help but I kept bumping up the jetting. Its been a while since I did the jetting but I think it came with 22.5, and I went to 25 and it still backfired, then 27 and didn't feel quite right so I ran a 32. Still almost feels lean, but maybe I'm not correct on that. It doesn't seem optimal, maybe I should have increased the mains as well. But definitely go up to 25 or 27, don't want it too lean. Mine runs hot so I'm guessing its still lean at 32 but I think I need an expert to chime in for help as well.
