I have a 05 450R was gonna do a freshen up. It has a stage 2 cam port and polish by JH racing fuel custom intake and nmotiom exhaust and bigger valves. It also has a 14:1 baldwin piston. I do flat track and motorcross. Was thinking of either a stroker crank or big bore any suggestions or just leave it alone? I want reliability. Thanks

Id do a bigbore, stroker is ALOT of work imho. 480 cylinder works kit (or athena-it has larger channels for water=cooler) and your own piston.

Ive seen some pretty impressive numbers out of a P&P 480 kit with 13:1 setup.

I was looking at ice vube are they good or bad? Stay with stage 2 cam or go to stage 3 then?

I know some say cylinder works are not good. Where do you find one with a 13:1 piston? Thanks

Ice cubes nice but alot of cash for what you get. Cylinder works is ok.

I usually buy mt stuff on ebay, just find out the piston size (IE 97mm or whatever) and search for it. 13:1 means 100+ octane, 12:1 and lower is ok to run on pump.
