I am finishing a complete rebuild and I have a ripper motor built by Four Stroke Tech. I am currently torn between buying Elka Stage 3 shocks or the Fox Evol Float shocks. I have Lone Star DC4 long travel arms. I also currently have the Fox Float on my other 03 440 with Lone Star sport +2 arms. The Fox shocks feel great and have a smooth ride to them. I just want to know what people think of both types.

I agree with TR, if your gonna be doing racing, or just riding for that matter, get the floats.
The elkas look good, but they're pretty much just a cookie cutter shock. They'll work better than stock, but if you want them to be great, your still gonna have to send them away to GTT, Jet Suspension, Derisi, C&D racing, Greg's ATV, RaceTech, etc. to get them set up for you specifically,if you want them to work great.
