Just put my 99 ex back together and looking for some suggestions on where to start with my jetting. Went back to stock bore, stage 2 hot cam, Wisco 11:1 piston and HMF slip on.. Carb currently has 45 pilot and 180 main. I got a Dynojet kit but it doesn't have pilot just mains so I would like to use the one I have if possible.

If you have a dynojet kit Im sorry to say no matter what we suggest it wont really work out b/c they use a different numbering system than stock.

There are conversion charts but honestly they arent worth much.

Stock type jets Id say approx 160ish and a 42 pilot.

A dyno jet 185 is the equivalent of a 209 kehin jet.

Your main jet is not to big if it can fully rev out, if it wont fully rev out and stutters on the top end then your main jet is to big.

I wouldnt change anything and just ride, if theres no hesitation and you start just fine and you dont stutter on the top end then your jetting is in a good spot.

get all your jetting info from here, this is the real deal jetting website.
