View Full Version : Carb jetting help on 06 and 07 models

I have the hrc kit on my bike well that's what the guy said when I bought it well jetting is off should I buy the hrc jet kit or stick with oem jetting and is thier a link that's shows how to remove the jets and needle?

to take the needle out just remove the top cover of your carb. the needle is self explanitory to remove then. to replace the main jet use a 17mm wrench on the bottom of your carb and insert socket through the hole to remove.

whats the mods that have been done to it including the airbox lid? give us the main jet number and needle number before we can proceed with your advise

It has the hrc cam and rossier exhaust and green wire mod

I am running 165 main 48 pilot 55 leak 2 1/4 turns on the fuel adjustment screw with about the same setup

keihin jets should be able to pick them up at any dealership

I see that this an older post, and you have probably got it figured out, but if you havnt, I recommend the Curtis sparks jet kit it's the best one Ive seen for the 06+ carb.
