Radiator fan

I been having my 450r now for a week and I never notice the fan cutting on once how often does it come on?

Hardly ever unless its like SUPER hot out.

Yeah it has to be EXTREMELY hot. Mine came on a couple times as the dunes and it was blazin out.

in the woods on a hot day it'll kick on and off periodically. They don't run nearly as much as the yfz fans though.

lots of guys hardwire the fan to a switch because they don't feel it runs as much as it should....i've considered it, but never have boiling issues so there's no need in my case.

I find it takes a lot for it to come on, especially if you're cruising in an open area with lots of air passing through the rad.

one of my last races of the season last year I came in from a moto and my bike was hot as balls, I let it idle for a minute while I took my helmet off on the other side of the trailer.. When I came back it was boiling over but the fan was off.. I discovered the wire connector had come undone.. Sabotage or what? :huh

Now I watch my fan like a hawk lol
