Im getting the A-arms frame and swing arm powder coated Candy blue. BDT will be going through the entire motor and adding a lightend crank and flywheel with a little more port work.
BDT is also making me a set of custom pro peg monster peg nerf bars.
Im also having custom seat covers and graphics made.

So which ones faster(lap times)? CanAm or Honda...
Burns310r
02-15-2013, 08:33 PM
I only had them both running at 1 race track last season at the same time... VERY LONG STORY...
But my fastest lap that day was on the R, but my fastes overal race was on the Can AM. basically i was splitting tenths of seconds per lap between the two bikes.
This season will give me a better idea because i will be starting the season with both bikes at 100%

I believe I have your brother set of Aarms... Mine are +4 Rolls. We're yours originally black? I could be wrong but there deff more wide than my +3 laegers. I didn't realize they were that rare, or rare at all lol. Always awesome looking bike, it was sweet before, looks like its about to be a master piece ! Best of luck Evan

I was told that Doug Roll only made 3 sets of these +4 rolls for the Laeger Narrow frame back in the day. You would need to measure them to be sure. I wouldnt compare lengths with any other a arm other than roll. Every Manufacturer had a little different lengths.

That is true, there all made different ..I'll measure them later just for curiosity, wish I had a narrow chassis :/ Wonder why he would only make 3 sets.? We're your uppers chrome when you got them? Mine are all black and seem to be original pc and decals..

I didnt buy them new, so no idea what they where orginally. THey where custom built for one pro rider i was told.
Most Rolls are chrome uppers with some sort of painted lower.
Im running a narrow frame with +4's a 4:1 off set rims and still 50" wide up front.

Got the engine back from BDT today and it looks amazing. They repaired where the sprocket guard is and you cant tell they where ever broken. Also powdered the entire engine. The engine is 100% brand new inside minus the transmission. The engine will make 65+hp. Cant wait to get it on the MX track with some 15-36 gearing. Should pull even harder than last year.
ALso i love the stealth look those 4 pokes will never see it coming.

Mission Complete......
Cant wait for my new BDT pipe to show. Also will be adding new nerf bars some time. But the bike is done for the most part. Took it for the maiden voyage around my yard tonight..... Let me put it this way. The open A class is in for a big suprise this season.

I see you have a jet trim seat cover, but what kinda seat cushion do you have? Stock? Ceet? Or the desert tall seat? Btw very Nice bikes.
Burnsie, you're running Open A at the Nationals? Which Nationals are you hitting? I'll be at Red Bud, but not in the A class. Lol. Ever ran a National before?

I will be running Open A and Production A at Walnut and maybe Loretta Lynns. I would run Red Bud, but that is the same week as Ashtabula TT nationals, and my engine sponsors wants me to go there. Will be a fun experience.
I dont expect to be up front or anything at the National Level. But a few guys that already run those class's and do well run a lot of local events here in Iowa. I hold my own against them here. Nationals is a hole another level though. But unfortunately i carry a A class license so i have to run A.
It will be fun.
