Have cam, and steering stabilizer is point less, i can ride for 5, days straight dusk to dawn and not be bot4ered enough to spend $250, and width isnt bad i thought a plus 4 would be wide for trails, is the 450r carb worth it? I can make a spacer like zr made but $100 for the carb and $20 for throttle cable?

i never saw the point in a 450r carb unless you have a hardcore built engine and want more plus there a PITA to jet. theres so much more to spend money on like shocks, beadlock rims, flexx bars that makes handling and riding nicer, because whats power if you cant handle it?

Carbs worth it if your motors done up.

Steering stablizer is very nice. Hit a root or rut that would normally throw you over the bars and it just absorbs it.

For mostly trail riding I would not go with a wider axle. If you want more power then the 450R carb is a nice upgrade and is not hard to jet or tune if it is from an '04-'05.

If you want better handling 450R front shocks are a nice upgrade that can be had for around $200. Also the steering stabilizer helps greatly with handling, it doesn't matter if you say you don't get tired, it helps you go faster on the trails which is what makes riding quads so much fun.

I bought a used set of GT thunder front and rear suspension and the XC link. Also added a CCP stabilizer (talk to the guy that sells them on ebay, he will give you a better deal if you buy direct.) Best two mods I have made. Much easier to handle at speed, alot more stable.

They may not look cool or be loud, but make you much faster than adding a 450r carb.
