interchange/size?

Can any one tell me if the axel for the 400ex and trx450r will interchange or if where the axel bearings ride on the axel are the same thinkness?

I am thinking of buying a drag axel for my 400ex but i have to but the 450 axel cuz they dont build the 400ex drag axel.

so far i recently found out that most of the parts fit, im going now to try and swap brake rotors.

i have a complete 450r swingarm i just put on my ex/hybrid, im swaping it to 400ex brakes, so far the brake stay and brake hubs seem interchangeable.

also ive called about fireball drag axles once before, they say 450r and 400ex are the exact same but i dunno if the carrier is any different?

Anyway, I dont know about the bearings but the brake hubs and brake stay from A 400ex are interchangeable.

I believe the only part that is a concern for you is the bearings, the drag axles come with custom hubs and brake stays I believe.

I ma thinking of using a jj&a axel can you see if your 400 axel will fit in the 450 carrier? just need to know if the axel fits in the bearing tight or is there slop thanks.
