SO you want to check out something little different than your crf/yz hybrid huh?
well you're welcome lol. no really. this i just finished modding the **** out of. i freaking love it. oh man it handles great. tons of power and is a blast to ride. and that was just the first 5 minutes i spent on it. lol. ill really put it through its paces this weekend i hope. weather permitting.
but i actually bought this from a guy in texarkana tx. that picked it up from a guy who did the entire conversion and documented it. then rode it for awhile and parted it out. ( i wont be doing that lol)
anyways. here is what it looked like when i bought it.

pretty decent. but i wasnt liking the stock stuff. you know me. i cant have some stock **** on my rides.
so i called up a buddy i used to race with because i rememered he bought a full on LT front end and axis fully adjustable shocks 8 years ago then ended up buying Johnny hales YFZ and never even used the shocks. i ended up doing some trading with him for that stuff and the transformation began.

so i started looking around for a used swingarm and little parts here and there.
i bought the moog ball joints that LSR uses with the beefy ends and reamed a set of spindles i had so all those fit.
next i dug in my parts storage building for all those extra YFZ bolt on stuff i have and dug out the plastics, nerfs, hipers, honda throttle housing etc and spent the next few weeks just installing all that when i had time. (not much of that to go around now days. )
and finally. here she is all finished up. i have a few more tweaks to do. like shine up the fenders, make a few more brackets for stuff i didnt quite like on the bike to start with, like radiator rezzy and silencer bracket. and once i get it all done up ill pull the arms and swingarm off and have it sent to dallas to get chromed.
as for my color scheme . well while the bag of skittles i have going is pimp im going back to my old YFZ color setup i used to run in 2005 which is black frame, red lakers. accent it with allot of chrome and it will be a sweet looking and running bike for sure.

the one conversion with the silver lakers and elkas (yuck) is the orginal to mine.
