Whats a leager worth?

It's Tim Farrs old Yamaha 426 powered bike..The frame is in great shape. Basically it's the frame, sub frame, bumper, oil tank, nerfs, handlebars, leager yzf link swinger with a fresh built PeP. And a few other parts. No front suspension or motor. But the frame is unmolested.

i guess about $2-$2500 imo
would cost easy over double that to finish
then your are in the price range for a nice turnkey hybrid/r

Well I can pick it up for less than that. Im just torn between running the 426 Yamaha motor or convert it to run a 250r motor. I hate 4 strokes but to have one of Farrs old bikes would be sweet, I believe he has the old plastics and possible seat to go with it. Id have to check

Is that chassis setup from the bike he ran during Huevos 4 movie? Because if it is, it would be pretty kool to keep it original, but thats just an opinion.

I believe so. Its one of 3 original 426f hybrids. I'd love to put it back to the same setup as he had it. Even if it took me 10 years to do it.

That's a steal. I'd go pick it up quickly while you have the chance. I've heard those YZF's are some runners, torque monsters.

There is a Laeger YZF 426 frame on ebay. Has been for some time now.

Looks good, I don't think its 1 of 3 however unless maybe its 1 of 3 wide frame laegers yzfs. I personally had 2. One belongs to 97rocks, one of them became my crf. There is one on ebay unless thats the same one and I know there is one in canada but its a narrow frame. There was another in the forsale section that was also a tim farr bike but its been completely redone. Really nice looking bike. Grab it up, you won't be a 4 stroke hater for long.
