What kind of radiator fluid is used in our 450s I noticed mine is at the lower line mark so ima need to add some more?

I always use the Honda coolant from the dealer. I've tried other brands, and as far as I can tell it works just as good and is easier for me to get on the spur of the moment. Doesn't overheat even in a muddy xc race. I read in MXA once that automotive coolant has larger particles that wear out the small seals in our engines, but I don't know that for sure.

You can use the HP coolant, or you can use any of the green stuff at the autoparts store as long as it's silicate free.

Would prestone 50/50 work?

i use the HP coolant, but you can use any as long as its SILICATE FREE. Just read the bottle it will tell you.

Prestone 50/50 would be fine. I use peak 50/50 with water wetter added

I switched from Honda coolant to engine ice but either or will be good.
