Glad I'm not the only one. I figured this forum would be full of people that hated him. I'm not even worried about where he finishes. It will just be cool to see him back out there.

I know a guy who was down there riding with him today, said he was so stoned he didn't know what was going on. I don't see him getting very far lol

Valid statement. Jlaw has always had a "bro" attitude ever since he was young. I think its more of a jersey thing, not a drug high.

I can't recall the site but it was one of those bike forums there was a thread on there about him coming back, and there was a video of him riding a track and he looked quick. The video looked like it had been recorded with a toaster it was hard to make out anything but he was riding a zuki. There was some guys talking on there about him running harescrambles in new jersey and straight smoking everyone. I hope he does come back.

the dude destroyed the entire 250 class back in the day with absolutely no training and partied like every single night, if all he does is smoke weed now he will probably win haha.

On a serious note, he will always have haters saying hes a drug addict and everything, but watch that interview and you can tell he's being real, thats really him, go watch an interview with dungey or villipoto, a brick wall has more personality than both of em.

EXACTLY. I'm so tired of hearing the robots talk. Lol I hope jrspawn doesn't read this, but that's why I have started to like Reed. He just tells it like it is for the most part and doesn't give you some half *** beat around the bush story. There needs to be more guys like Lawrence as far as speaking their mind goes.

Yeah but it's always someone else starting the rumor. This is the first time he has actually stated he is trying to come back.

Living in NJ my entire life I can tell you not everyone is like that. Most of what you see about NJ involves the 5% of the state that the other 95% of us hate. If you think he had an attitude in that video you better stay out of NJ though :p ....He was actually very calm and collected in the vid. But I'm not taking sides here. If you watch the 2 part video he did a couple years back with Transworld he behaves exactly the same way as he does in this video and everyone said he changed back then too.

I think its cool that he's out there again and hope he does well, but only he knows for sure if he really wants it. Everyone else involved is pretty much going to stand around with their fingers crossed hoping he keeps it together.

My friends/son rode at englishtown last weekend & Jlaw was rippin. Made me want to buy a dirt bike but reality set in & I'm stickin w/ my quad. It was an icebox outside. I froze my everything. We had fun though. Feels good that riding season is back. Old guys wait till its warmer - because we've been there done that & we don't care what you think either :devil:
