rattling noise in the engine

I have a 03 with a strange rattling noise. Does 90 have a timing chain? It sounds like a chain spinning around in it. Could it be a bearing? I changed the oil a few times and I've never seen any prices of metal. This is not new I bought it with it sounding like this about 5years ago but it sounds a little louder. What else would cause this?

Yes there is a timing chain. It could also need a valve adjustment.
