The race orders are on the ATVMX website. Of course, our planned classes are back to back for odd rounds.

I will have to say I like the idea that they have the final 7 classes from the previous round going near the 1st group the next round.

Couple classes I can see some complaining about: 70cvt and 70 limited being together and 90 mod and the new 125 class being together.
But, how else can they do it and still keep the day short enough?

Is there any way to have these classes run seperate? We have 2 quads , one for 90 mod and one for 4 stroke. It's really a bum deal having them grouped together. Why not run the 4 strokes with the limited class and then we could sign up for all three. If anyone knows if this is final or can be changed please let me know. Thanks

WTF, now the 90 mod Jr and Sr are on the track at the same time?

AND they totally screwed up the 90 Open classes and Supermini.

1st, they cannot run a double gate drop on the two 90 Open classes....that is an accident waiting to happen. The 90 Sr. leaders will catch the 90 Jr. riders for sure. Not fair to either class of riders. Pretty dangerous too (wait for a 15/16yo Sr. rider to land on an 8yo Jr. rider....)
2nd, on the Even rounds they have the 90 Open Sr. too close to the Supermini class. Almost all the Sr. riders also race in the Supermini class.
My proposal for the EVEN rounds....switch the 90 Open classes with the 50 Semi Stock(4-6). The 50's are the 8th race on the Odd rounds and number 3 on the Even rounds(Sunday's). I don't think it's asking much to ask them to move to #18 or #19 on the Even rounds....preferably #19 to give the ones running the 50cvt or 50 single speed class a gap between races.
My 2 cents..
Also, why do they "cater" to the Girls classes? They are race #2 both rounds?

Apparently I am not the only person unhappy about the order. Sunday of the odd rounds has only one race between 50ss/cvt and girls class. So, we can not race the classes we planned to. If they ran Sunday like Saturday, we could do it. Only Sunday of odd rounds has us messed up.

i know that there is no way to make everyone happy it is frustrating to spend all winter setting up quads for the classes you want to run only to find out that the order prohibits you from racing them.

WTF x 2!!
I added every rider in each class (mod jr & sr) at each race for 2012. Combining the two will put an average of 34.5 quads on the track!!!! (19.4 sr and 15.1 jr). Both these classes are fast and have nearly 100% sr and 75% jr on the gate. I have to believe these numbers justify separate running. I understand time constraints, but there has to be another way.
I feel a big ole dirt clod coming on!!!! Where's the water truck!!!

Maybe we can race with one between. It would be very difficult. Just worried about no time for a drink and cool off before going right back out. My rider would need to get in better shape. Going to have to think about it. Might miss a podium interview. Wishful thinking. Lol.

I agree these kids are tough and can handle back to back races or one between BUT they should not have too. Plus issues such as a crash in the prior race screws him for the next race, where he may get to go back to the trailer and get a drink, stretch, and get his mind right before going back out there. Moto's close together just is not safe.
Bottom line here, we have entirely too many classes. In the above list I came up with - it ain't easy to separate kids classes to predict who is running what....try it.

Yes. Now, for our planned classes we have 3 between on Sat and 4 between on Sun. I feel much better about having a small break between races now.

I think when they see the amount of riders they will make it two motos. OR a Jr. Racer may use his 2 minutes and force them into two motos. Hmmm

BUT 50 Open has its own track, Hell yeah!!!!

We run 50 class. But, I agree that the way they split it doesn't make sense. They should have only had 50 cvt and 50ss. I doubt that 50 open will have many on the gate. Two classes on a 50 is a lot of time on the machine. I feel that the fast riders will consider 50cvt or 50ss their main focus. Have to wait and see.

Risking a lot to try to run both classes on one machine. Can't choose which moto you break down in. :D

With the combining of classes. I wonder why they didn't combine the 90 auto sr and jr. I don't see any difference between that and the 90 mod classes being combined.

I hate to say this but it seems the classes change each year, depending on who is running what. Money changes everything gentlemen.........

90 mod sr and jr together will be a mistake. The auto classes should have been combined, they run closer to the same times and there is not as many. Most run the auto classes as a 2nd class, with 90 cvt being there main class. I imagine when they line up for staging at round 1, the mod jr and sr will be seperated. Your talking 30-35 quads on the track at the same time. The front of the sr class will for sure be breathing down the neck of the back of the junior class.

If its a split gate they wont throw the 2 again....remember, we tried that at pleasure valley in 09 and they dropped it with hands in the air. They wait too long and theyll be right back into the pack. Most lap tomes avg right at 2 min then scoring is a nightmare!!

If they are going to double gate a couple classes I think they could do the Vet 30+ and Vet 30+C. They can't run both classes if they were separated and they are grow adults who can make good decisions IF they catch the back of the other class.
Ya'all are gonna have to email Dean....he's probably tired of hearing from me.
