My daughter decided she was wanting to run the entire GNCC series this year so im trying to get her a new suspension to make it a little easier on her. So my question is what is the best arms/shock combo for a 2010 drr 90? I have been using Fox snoxs on my race quads for several years now and love them but not sure how they are on the minis. Any help would be great as i am looking to buy in the next week or so.

I was leaning toward the atv4play setup.

Fish on you have a great quad and i have seen him in action but she isnt ready for an all out race quad yet. She is real quick when she wants to be but still isnt 100% all the time since she broke her arm.

I understand that for sure. the biggest thing for going fast for us wasn't the motor believe it or not it was how well the suspension was set up. the riders more likely to stay in the throttle when they know that they're not going to get bucked off the machine. The motor in this machine is only a small part of it. THere's a lot of other stuff on there to help you get through the woods smoothly with no problems regardless of the conditions. An option is to put a different motor in there that's not as strong and sell this motoror save it till she's ready.

You are definitely going in the right direction to upgrade the suspension first then the motor. Too many people get that backwards and that is a recipe for injury.

My son loved the Fox shocks and the whole setup worked really well. You can't go wrong with the ATV four play arms, the ground clearance is great with that setup and they are virtually indestructible.

We've had Elka, Motowoz and we've had Fox. Out of the box the Fox shocks were the closest to being right and were the easiest to adjust. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those, the key is just getting it setup to match your rider.

I agree 100% with you on suspension. Every race quad i have had myself has been close to stock motor and go all out on suspension and steering .

Where does one find a disc guard like that?

we used JB arms
they are narrow like a stock 50 but use the longest stroke shock of all builders
so tuneability should be best
im sure fourplay stuff is good as well

i like the black plastic used to keep engine dry on that apex !
