I ordered a lexx pipe last night from lexxpipedepot.com for my '08 400ex ,$150 and free shipping. Soon as I get it I will post some pix up and tell ya what I think of it. I'm excited, kinda my own small budget trail/xc build.

sweet for 150 thats a nice looking and quality slipon, I think it would look awesome as a shorty but not many people are shorty fans.

i agree, it would look sweet as a shorty. Dont think i'll be cutting it up tho. At least not right away. havent even really heard it yet other than just a quick start up and not much rev. Still need to put new jets in.

Nice, so how do you like the sound and performance gain? Wheres the biggest gain in performance....low? Mid? High?

Just got the pipe on and only started it to hear it and didn't really rev it too much, no ride time. Have jets just need to get them put in. Soon as I can get that done I will get back to you about any gains. I do like what I heard when I started it. Sounds good in my opinion.

watch where it attaches to the header, it really doesnt go on tight enough.

I wound up coming up with 2 fixes.

1. Muffer u bolt to clamp it on tighter
2. I welded on a small extension of 2" car muffler to the header and then cut slits in the midpipe and used a band clamp for a motorcycle.

Anyway you can post pix of what you did to get a better idea on what I should do, already had a plan to put a exhaust clamp on the mid-pipe. Still seems like a good exhaust for the price. Even if it takes some cheap fab work.

All I did was take some 2" outside diameter muffler pipe about 3" long. Welded it to the band on the header. Then slit the mid pipe and used a clamp. Took all of 30 mins maybe.

my lex is held on by a hose clamp, a muffler u clamp would be better of course, but i was able to get a pretty heavy duty hose/exhaust clamp that has worked fine.

Put a 2 inch exhaust u clamp on and works great, got jets in also and I do notice a bit of a gain in bottom and mid. Really like the sound too (not over kill)

it's a good quiet pipe with the spark arrestor in, but when you remove that spark arrestor get ready for some noise, lol.

That looks nice, does the exhaust clamp hold the joint tighter? Are there relief cuts that allow for a tighter seal between the head pipe and midpipe? Did you have to use RTV to get a proper seal?

Sorry for all the Q's, I was thinking about buying the same silencer!

Yeah the clamp holds it on great, and there is a relief cut on the insert that goes in the mid pipe so it can clamp down around the head pipe good. I did use some high temp RTV on all the joints, as the instructions said anyway. I am really happy with the pipe. Great pipe for the price, I've had FMF, Yoshi., and White Bros. on previous quads and this pipe seems to be just as good, only a portion of the cost. Pm me you cell number and I can send you a short vid clip of it if you like
