Tire swap?

Will a 18x6.5-8 tire interchange with an 18x8.00-8?
I am not sure of what the 6.5 means( tire width).....

I can take a picture of our 18x8-8 tire on a stock DRR rim (which I think is an 8x5 or 8x6) if that helps.

Thanks! That's what I was wondering. I have dwt rears on now and I was going to try kenda kutters. I think it will get alittle more tread on the ground.

Here is a couple of QuadCross MX tire pics.. These have 2 seasons of racing on them, including practice.. The tires hold up surprisingly well and provide plenty of bite.

We've been happy with them honestly and got them for a pretty good price..

We run them with a stock RM85 motor and the additional size did keep the wheel spin down considerably, but I'm not sure how they work on CVTs or SS motors for additional pressure on the driveline, so you'd have to ask one of the experts in that area :)

In the one pic, i showed the overhang on the rim, not that much really and there is not a lot of sidewall flex in corners, but you do get some.
