In an interview with the Denver Post , Caleb's grandfather is quoted as saying "The prognosis is not good at all. It's almost certain he's not going to make it."

Thoughts and prayers go out to Caleb! Keep fighting!

Last i read is his grandfather said he "wasn't doing good" and "it's almost certain he's not going to make it".

Great athlete and roll model! Hope he can pull through!

Really praying for him. I never would have pictured it being this bad. Especially after seeing him up and talking to his brother after the crash. Praying for his full recovery!

The people that says he is certain to not make it don't know our God. With all the people praying for this young man and all the strong Christian faith Caleb is sure to pull through this. Be strong Moore family and we will all keep praying for you God is listening .

I can't get it off my mind. I really hope he can pull through. He is someone we all have looked up to over the years and has done a lot to give us quad guys recognition. The sport would not be where it is today without Caleb. We're all pulling for ya bud.

I believe both moore brothers are on here. I hope he makes it. Makes us remember that there can be extreme consequences for doing extreme sports.

Not sure if many of you are old enough to care, vote or know any better but...

If Caleb doenst make it through this and with this wonderful administration we have running our country(insert sarcasm), I would not be surprised if the backflip gets banned by some sort of pressure from the government.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you guys, I've watched Caleb flip a 80ft. gap in person on a quad an it's insane.

I just read all the updates and no more info since really Sunday....and from what I read I am very sad....I have a son named Caleb who is 25. My greatest fear sense no news for 2 days is that my guess is he could be brain dead, the way the grandfather spoke an how it was worded about the family, leads me to believe they are just waiting for the right time to say goodbye to him......I can't imagine if this was my son, and I hope I am so wrong.

Truth... No where does it say anything about the brain.. only the heart.

If you read the article, they talk about how he had bleeding around his heart which caused something in his brain.

The complications with his heart have caused brain issues according to news reports from the family.

As someone else has mentioned, I hate to say it, but I think he may have severe brain damage.

Def sucks to see he did not pull through. One thing though he left doing what he loved. God Speed to everyone affected.

By far! Do you know where this was? Looks like Grand Junction area.

Super sad. Heard so many good things about him. His brother and he were training on bikes right? And didn't they install thumb throttles on the bikes?

What a loss to the entire ATV community. He was the Travis Pastrana of our sport. Brought so much recognition to freestyle riding and ATV's in general. Seemed like a great guy... Hopefully Wes Miller or Blake Shippman will put together a tribute video in his honor. God Speed and my deepest sympathies to his family.

It was Caineville Utah. It's in a segment from "Fallout 3"

He really was. He could throw a leg over anything and make it look like he had been doing it for years.

Wow, words can not express how much sorrow I feel for the Moore family. I really thought Caleb was going to pull through it, I just couldn't picture a world without him. He was a major inspiration to me in my younger years when I was growing up. Watching him, Colten and all the others doing freestlye on the Huevos movies is what inspired me to start doing freestyle myself. He was truely taking the quad freestyle scene to a new level, aswell as showing everyone what an atv rider can do on a sled and a dirt bike. I had always hoped to meet him in person at a freestyle show or riding park and maybe get to ride with him. He will be deeply missed by me and I will never forget him or what he did for the sport.

R.I.P. Caleb Moore, you are gone but will NEVER be forgotten.:(

His screen name on here is outacontrol31. Not only have we lost a major icon, but truly a wonderful person outside of action sports as well. The love he has for his brother is amazing.

I found some help with grieving to read through some of his old posts on here and some other sites. Some were really hard to read but it helped me.

The dude was one of the nicest. Talked to him a few times in person. And he even messaged back people on myspace and other networks unlike the rest of the racers and guys in the mags.
