Now that I got my bike going, I need to get the kiddo's working like it should. Fixed his clutch cable the other day and went for a ride only to break his bars but aside from that he needs a solenoid for the start button to work (I already put in a new starter and no dice) but my local dealer wants $75 for the solenoid. They're listed on ebay between $10 and $20. Any of you have experience with these? Should I just get the OEM one? Would love to hear your thoughts on them.

The ones on ebay are probably cheap chinese ones, which will work for a bit and then eventually die. You can try one tho since they are so cheap. I would just get an OEM one from Honda and be done with it. Whichever you can afford.

I bought one of those cheap ones off ebay a couple years ago and I think it lasted about 8 or 9 months before it crapped out. Then I bought a new OEM one off of ebay for $40 and it hasn't given up yet.

I bought one of those cheap ones and it only lasted about six months. Buy a used OEM one off of eBay from the newest quad you can find, like an 07 or so.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll definitely go with the OEM one.

Zeb, I'll give him a call and see if he has one handy, thanks!
