Iphone help quick!

I got this Iphone 3g, when you turn it on it will go back to the apple logo and then go blank and keep rebooting to the apple logo until it goes dead. I can get it into DFL mode but then when i get it into itunes and go to restore it, it will start restoring then go to error code whatever and go back to keep restarting with the apple logo. Need help quick thanks alot!

Nevermind I got it to work. It was a 3gs, i put Ios 6 on it. We'll see how that works. But another question, I got this 3rd gen Ipod touch that has a lot of music on it I like. How do I get the music off it into my itunes to put on my personal phone?

Plugging it into iTunes would be the best option, I believe that the music library is locked else I would be able to do something very technical for you to get that, but try the iTunes thing
