Do you guys have any measurements on how you made your motocross track?

Like how tall the burms are, how tall are the jumps, where you built the course, stuff like that.

Any information will be helpful.

my track is 4 acres squared and its plenty enough space.

how much space do you have?

if you can, use a skidsteer, it takes a lot less time.

Berms: it just depends how big you want them...

Well the track isnt going to be mine, its gonna be my friends. Hes not a member on here so Im posting it for him.

He lives rite across from the c-dale coal hills and has barely any land so build on so I would guess that he was just curious on how to make one.

If you wanna ask him yourself on how much land he has or w/e his s/n for AIM is crazzyass430.

A buddy of mine made a track. ITs a nice track. His dad rented a cat and we just drove the cat grading the field and moving rock. we just used our imagination it pretty windy. Has burms and jumps. it good for the big boys as well as the little biys just learning. Get really dusty in the summer. It cost aobut 1000.oo to rent the cat for a week

just use your imagination and whatever you have, if your on a low budget you dont need a skidsteer but it makes it faster. and it doesnt have to be huge to be fun

Thats exactly what I told him, then I told him about our lil track up where I live. Its by the reservoir, it WAS made for snomobiles but now its for quads and bikes.

The longest jump is 25 feet, but its a fun lil thing to jump and plus all the kids around here only have 250s and one 400, so its big enough for us.

My buddy has an mx track. He had a dozer pile up dirt in a few places then took a shovel and made a face on both sides. Rode it down and made a jump. For the rest of his stuff he burried logs, old tires. His step up jump has a box spring mattress under it. lol. He spends a lot of time with a shovel on it. A skid steer is the best thing to use. I took my dad's down there one time, but he got pissed about it. lmao

Well the way we made them for my BMX track was we got some old plastic sewer pipes and put them into the ground a lil ways and them cover them with dirt and water them so they are nice and solid.

Should work the same way for quads, only have something under the pipe to support all the weight.
