questions about the 2004 suzuki z400

does anyone know if the little problems on the 2003 will be addressed for the 2004-frame cracks, axle problems? will their be any different colors/graphics? when will they be out?

the 2k4's should be here by july im assuming...as far as changes..i dont expect any..axles have been addressed and fixed, graphics will stay the same im sure since the bike is new..so expect nothing to change.

i have heard they are doing a little gusseting at the problem areas on the frames....prolly just a rumor though.

i hope it is addressed, i believe there were enough cases in order for the problem be looked at.

what did they do to fix the axles? are the 2003's they are selling now fixed? also i was queated out the door price at 5281.00 is this a good price?

manufacturing on the older axles was contracted out, they said that the heat treatment process that the company used didn't strengthen the axle to what Suzuki specufied.

if you bought a Z/KFX past Sept 2002 it should have the newer axle on it.

5281 is pretty good, i have heard of some people getting under 5k OTD. my KFX was the first in the area and i wanted it bad so i payed 5699 OTD...sticker price :D i did get a beanie cap and a ball cap for free though :P

IMO... The frame cracking is from ppl jumping them way too high! There not supposed to be MX-ready stock. I think DW over emphasized on MX scene. If u don't do ne MAJOR jumps it'll be ok.
