Doing all this on an ipad so.... here goes.
ok- looks like only a few parts will bolt onto a 450r from my 400.:uhoh:
what is the favorite pipe for the r? Im looking at sparks but ive heard a lot of good about dasa.
Dasa period. Best gains for the money. HMF is a close second apparently and spark although a great pipe and adds power is EXTREMELY loud (like deafening!)

The biggest bang for your buck would be the new Lonestar/Moto-Xperts. Dasa, Spark, Fmf are the big names. Loud pipes not make power.

I've owned both a Sparks regular core and a Dasa Classic (the loudest factory dasa).
To me the Dasa is louder. The Sparks has a deeper tone.
But that is comparing a regular core Sparks that has a smaller header and core dia then the Dasa.
Which also gives the Sparks more low end power and the Dasa more top end on the butt dyno.

I would never buy a pipe because it was the loudest, and I would never buy a fourwheeler because it has brand x over brand y. That being said, I run Sparks on all of my race bikes. Keep them packed and they're not any louder than any other pipe.
