Me and a buddie were just talking about this the other day. We used to buy kenda klaws for 40 a piece and like you said maxxis for 50 a piece. hell you could buy turf tamers for 30 a piece. Now their 80 a piece. Im keeping my rzrs off the blacktop and will run them until they fall apart haha

Yeah im doing truck tire shoppin myself right now actually. I used to buy mastercraft courser ct cheap...not anymore, Altho i did fine that kenda makes a good looking rugger tire in a 295 that is cheap. If they wear like kenda quad tires than they will be my new tire of choice. Im prolly gonna give them a shot when i get my income tax back

A few yrs ago i bought brand new ITP holeshots 21" Fronts mounted on new rims for around 160.00......a guy I ride with wondered if I had some front tires for his 400EX......ya, I'll sell ya these Holeshots on rims for 160.00......he thought I was ripping him off and didn't buy them....good luck.....he'll be paying that much just for the tires. I'll just keep em for spares.

Technically they didn't, itp is owned by Carlisle tires and they were the original turf tamer producers

Tires contain petroleum, gas is petroleum and gas is $$$.

Also purchasing power of the dollar is WAY down. Look around you, that same product you paid 5 bucks for a few years ago is 7+ dollars now.

IE I could swear a #2 at mcdonalds (2 cheeseburger value meal) was like 5 some odd dollars for a medium, now its like 7+ I think.

i back in july, before my local XC series started back up for the second half of the season, needed needed to tires.

i ended up getting kenda klaw xc 21x7x10 fronts for $64 a piece, and 20x11x9 kenda kutter xc rears for like $68 a piece from motosport. my bill for all four plust shpping was like $284 and some odd change i beleve. thats still way more than what atv tires should cost in my opinion, but its still not to bad of a deal for a quality tire.

I bottle of pop is like 1.50 even. It used to be under a dollar. Even beer is more expensive than 2-3 years ago.

Try buying American racer tires, ten years ago they were almost 100 each. Some guys go through a set of four a weekend, imagine doing that 10 times a years.

It seems resources are the cheapest in the Carolina's, Kentucky and Tennessee. Pay rates are less in those areas for what I do. But maybe it evens out.

Bought some ARTRAX tires, from motosports outlet. They look like the maxis razor, 20x11x9 so far so good. 50.00 a tire and free shipping. Can't beat that.
