450r Grab Bar on 400ex Setups

Hey Guys,

My brother is in the process of doing a rebuild on his 400. He has been running a 450r grab bar for some time now, but im just looking for a better mounting setup then what we have now (nuts welded to the inside of the subframe. So if any of you are running a 450r/250r grab bar on your 400 please post a pic of what you did to mount it up. Thanks!

I'll try to post up pics of mine later. I think I have 3 different subframes all done differently. What year is that grab bar off of? Do you like it? I'm trying to decide between that kind or the armadillo.

My grab bar is from a 04-05 trx450 its a houser ez-lift grab bar I like it it's held up great so far

If you use a 450r grab bar, use one off of the 04-05. The 06 and up will work too but they have the exhaust mount on them I believe.

doesnt PRM make grab bars that mount directly to the EX subframe to the exhaust mount and the tool box mount on the opposite side?
