I got tired of trying to adjust the pilot screw with my 90* tool so I made this:
I took a Brass valve core removal tool and ground the slots off. Took the oem D shaped pilot screw out and soldered the ground off end of the brass core / cap to the D head on the pilot screw to give me something to hold on to to adjust the mixture. After burning my hands I got to thinking and took an idle adjustment cable off of a 450R, cut the threads off to make it shorter, then inserted it into the underside of the brass valve cap, then put JB weld in there to hold it,after unscrewing it out of the carb 1st. Well after all is cured I threaded the whole thing back into the carb and started screwing it in and out with the cable. SO FAR IT WORKS!!I ran the the cable out the left side and am going to make a bracket to secure it later. Cost $10 for a used 450R idle cable,$4 JB weld, valve core tool free!found it on the ground in my shop. I will keep up to date on the function.

Looks good. The extra cable looks alittle too cluttered for my taste so I'd prolly just stick with the valve core remover on it and be done, but I also have small hands so I wouldn't have a problem getting in there to adjust it. Nice idea though, deff. gunna try it out when I get some free time.
