He has an malossi cyl on his 2010 apex 90 and the rest of the motor is still stock he is putin in a new piston and asked me how much comp the cyl should have and I told him not for sure. I cant help him out much my bikes are way diffrent, thanks for any help.

he told me he is getting about 83 lbs of pressure on head is this about right?

These Honda boys won't know the answer to this cvt type question. LOL

83 is very low. He needs to check the squish and lower the cylinder if there is room....

Hey Rocky I put this post in the wrong bike category. I put another post under Apex, but since you're here what should the squish be? Want to know for myself. We got the compression up 150. Thanks

.027 is high we ran 25 to 26 on our air cooled

I don't know what the bigbore calls for as squish. Call Justin at MaxRPM or Marc at Hotquads....
I always used solder to check mine...
