yfz calipers

For the people who have the yfz caliper swap on the ex, did you use any washers or anything to bump the caliper out at all? I installed my calipers and outside pad is rubbing the rotor. I bought these used and the pads are about through 50% of their life so i doubt its the pads themselves. Any ideas?

All you need is the calipers and I took the dust quard or whatever the plastic thing is off and I used I think an 06 yfz caliper but there all the same and there fit just about perfect

Mine are off an 05 but the pad is rubbing and i can't figure out why

Make sure the pins are sliding free. The pad should set right up against the rotor as long as there is not a real heavy drag on the rotor. If the rotor can be turned by hand once everything is bolted up and bled chances are its fine.
