loud pop and then no power

rode my quad one day and no problems. next day went to start it and heard a loud pop and no i have no power what so ever.
it has a new battery and that tests fine
checked the fuse and it was good but replaced it anyways.

still no power, any suggestions?

I had a headlight wire that got cut and was grounding out on my frame blowing the fuse. No electrics would work after that..

check compression.

Well wait, do you mean no motor or electrical power?

No electrical I guess, I have no lights and no switches work

Replace the fuse by the battery anyhow. A fuse could look 100% normal but still be faulty.

Yea, I'd say put a new fue in and then take the plastics off and try to start it and look and listen for it if/when it pops again and try to pin point where it came from. Chances are a wire got rubbed raw and is shorting out.

I've already replaced the fuse and still no power at all, no lights, no juice, nothing

Check the battery ground and use a digital multimeter. Start checking over everything with it like voltage at starter and narrow it down from there
