If its got spark and wont start, give the plug hole a spray of carb cleaner, wd-40 or starting fluid.

I had a problem where mine wouldn't start and after a week of tearing everything apart I finally igured it out. Where the cdi plugs into the wiring there are 6 wires that connect to the plug that goes to the ci. One of those wires some how came out. So check all the wires that go to the cdi. Because I was testing the coil, stator, everything and all it was, was one little wire on the cdi. I was going insane trying to figure it out, so check it.

did you have the motor tore apart , if so you might have a timing problem...

Gotta have fuel, fire and compression to get her going. Start with the basics. Check fuse, see if you have fire. Stick a new plug in they are cheap. Make sure you have gas getting into the carb. If you pop the carb out and push the throttle you should see the accelerator pump squirt gas. If all that is good stick a compression gauge on her. I think you should have at least 100 p.s.i. If compression is low make sure your valves are adjusted correctly.

Good luck

Yeah check the switch first then go straight to the plug.
