im just about to order my 416 , now ive been a lil confused can someone please break it down to me EVERYTHING i need including price and where i can order it from and will i see substantial gains with a 416 or go wityh 426 need help sooon

in that case just get a 426 piston 88mm and bore your cyl.

JE or Ross piston kit in a 416
Gasket kit (people use different brands) we use the cometic brand
Cam (which ever brand you would like)
optional
Valve seals

That should be all you need..

i need a number how does this sound a hot cam stage 2 and a JE piston, should the piston be a 87 mm or what and i noticed on sparks racing it comes with a gasket and if i order from C&D will it also come with a gasket or what:D

C&D Racing's number is at the top of the page in the flashing ad. I just now got off the phone with Dusty and firmed up my order. You could call right now or wait till in the morning. Get the steel gaskets and new valve seals and orings. Talk to Dusty and she will hook you up. Stay with the 416. 426 makes the stock sleeve a tad too thin...IMHO.

Ordered my 416 piston from C&D two days ago. They also carry the hot cam also if you go with a Hot Cam They will set you up.

from what I've read on these forums, STAY AWAY FROM HOT CAMS!!! But I don't know. I've always used WebCam. They cost a little more and you have to send them your cam, but you get what you pay for and what are you going to use your old cam for, a boat anchor? :D If you do get the Hot Cam, I would put some red LokTite on the flange when you press it on! Just my $.02
