2k for a pile of parts is not worth it. 250r arent going for much nowadays, and one in parts is def in the 1k range. If its got a bunch of aftermarket parts, ie: shocks, motor work and exhaust, good plastics, then maybe. And not knowing what the engine is running like, if at all, is a huge chance. I have 2 and wont put them together because there worth more to me than i can get for them right now.

It has brand new plastics frame wheels and tires and brand new swing arm with all brand new stainless bolts. He has the motor apart cause he was getting ready to install a esr 370 big bore kit

if you just have to put the motor into the frame then maybe 1200-1500. Unless you can hear it run and check the gears I wouldnt do it.

I'd buy it in a heart beat. 2 strokes aren't too expensive to rebuild and the chassis looks perfect. If the motor don't run then worse case, make it a project bike. The 250r is my favorite bike so my opinion is obviously different but I'd say go for it

As it sits in those pictures, I would pay $200 top dollar.

even with it being in nice condition, it is in pieces, not worth 2k. Maybe if it were back together but not like that. As it sits 1200 or so IMO..

I just pieced together a complete rolling 400ex chassis for around $600.

Im sure if you shop you could piece together and pc a 250r for around the same price, Then you can use whatever motor you want or rebuild a 250r motor and still be under the asking price.

I believe $1800 is way to much for something apart and not running, Regardless of fresh paint and neat plastics.

Like Thummpin said for $1200 tops! atleast that way if you gotta rebuild or replace some parts you can still have a decent 250r at a decent price.

those cheapy walmart headlights and air shrouds kinda make it look cheap- i think. Doesn't look that bad- but i wouldn't buy a bike unless i've rode it.

theres got to be a reason for him not piecing it back togather
