if you have a sealed tank (55 gal) and it sits in the back of your truck with a hose to you pressure washer you have created about 5-10 pound of head preasure (gravity) drill a hole in it and tap it out for a shrader valve so you can add air pressure. or what i did is got a washer hose and filled my 55 gal drum with it letting city water preasure build. worked well, hope i helped

Chavez is on the money regarding this topic. Another key is to make sure you have a very short hose from the tank down to your pressure washer. It's gotta be short enough to flow quickly down to the washer without losing momentum. I have friends who do this and it works great. They added taps just like Chavez said.

I also have the Honda 2500psi Washer. I use the 55 gallon drum and it works fine with just a hose and no force is needed other than gravity. I have the drum on the tounge of my trailer and it works fine. I use a 8foot hose also.
