For all of yall that hated Aonia, the track has been closed for 2 weeks and they are supposedly completely revamping the track layout. The owner spoke as if there were some major changes to it.

When will it reopen for Practice and when does it Close to get ready for Round #1?

I didnt mind the track. It just adds a wider range of the type of tracks in the series. I know a bunch of folks that thought it was ok. It was fast and wide open, a stark contrast from Ballance, muddy creek, or Red Bud....I guess some like each track and some don't...I personally hated Maryland, so much so that we skipped it last year. I know some liked it though.

Not that big of a deal I guess.

Work hasnt been done yet......They should close this week, but they made it sound like major changes. I know alot of people said they didnt like the track. Im with you Bruce, I hated Maryland. Wont go back again.

Answering machine says its open, I havent heard if they have done any changes yet. Im betting they will leave it like it is and close it down 1 week prior to gncc race the week before us. Since Gammon will be there he will probably have it rebuilt during the week between gncc and mx. They man that runs it says they are gonna totally rebuild it, but you can never tell anymore.
