i keep seing alot of posts on airboxes for no link or cr 500 link. i have run a no link since the mid to late 90s. i have always cut a stock air box and moved it back 2 inches. its easy and cheap and last alot longer than aluminum ones it seems. trying to post some pics

I have an airbox that came with my walsh cr500 link and it has the box moved back, great idea in theory but when you start hitting the big jumps there isn't much box left at the end of the day.

I put a home made airbox eliminator bracket on there now but I need an airbox, so might just make something has to be really shallow.

i sent some to u if u can figure out how to post them it would be cool. i use a stock boot and cut it back bout 1 inch. take a piece of 2 inch pvc and angle it twords carburetor. if i can find aluminum i will use that too. then just a rubber boot onto the carb. on a 250r u could probably use the part of the boot u cut of for the carb.

this is what i have used for many many years its cheap and easy and looks fine if u know how to work plastic. and have creative tendencies. for the show room guys this may not be bling enough but it works well
