Took my frame down to the blaster yesterday I liked the red baron he had, but still undecided. You made the right move going with a laeger hands down one of the nicest Hybrids out there good job!

Yea I was kinda iffy bout it to but fell in love with it once I seen it in person! Thanks it's my baby I've dreamed of a laeger crf since day one and proud of how this one turned out!!

that laeger turned out *****'n. What to do what to do..... Mine is still pretty mint but I've never really gone long before switching up the look. I'm still on the fence about keeping my crf.. I have finally started building a sxs and its moved my interest quite a bit. But to keep with the hybrid theme I started with an xp chassis and I think I've finally locked in on a apex 1000cc motor for it. It will be 2wd, building my own front end for it with custom spindles and better shock geometry and of course massive shocks..haha Just need deeper pockets.

Laeger made me thisframe many years ago with urethane motor mounts. Even the swingarm pivot is urethane mounted. I've raced many 40+mile races on her and had a ridiculously good time. She's the best all around duner ever. Sooo much power with little maintenance. Would I race the Thousand on her ? no. Is this the best quad I've ever had ? Hell yes. Would I put a CR 500 in a stock frame? Never again. Here's the other side

I paid 2 grand for frame, subframe,motor mount bolts, and swingarm bolt back in .......1994ish. Funny thing was, after I started putting parts on it,I realized there was no post on the frame for the rear brake pedal??? Back to Laeger. No prob. Fast turn around. Great guy.

Sorry for the delay. Hammer, I waatched your build thread. It looks like you're really enjoying your build. That's awesome.That's what they're for. beobe99 thank you much.wfo eventually. sled, the ig has two 100 watt leads. The best part is the magnet is actually a flywheel weight. I think thats the key to the 500's vibe issue. I rode Mcgee's 500. What a monster. That 8 gallon tank was about 2 feet wide. A magic carpet ride for sure. Just don't get into trouble. Like riding in the bed of a trophy truck. Rat Patrol style haha

the other is a 80' yz465 in another YFZ chassis,i had no option for a short kicker,this thing needs leverage.So I custom bent a stock one.What can i say but its a brute,Great for trails,hardly have to throttle this thing,so much torque on tap
