I noticed yesterday that my rear sproket is starting to show wear on one side of the teeth. Can I just flip it around and run it on the other side of the teeth?

I go though sproket alot but I have never tried turning it around. I always try to have a spare just in case I need it.

no dont flip it around, it will hold on to the chain with the marks wear marks like a hook and break teeth off of mess ur chain up, if that makes any sense, just get a new one they arent too expensive

Yea, dont do that. I heard of people breaking teeth off from doing that. Just go for a new one. Plus its a great chance for you to play with your gearing if you were thinkin of makin a change.;)

Thanks for the info. I won't turn it around. I'll just put the stock 38 back on for now until I can get some $ together.

you may want to check out your front sprocket also, usually you should replace both of them at the same time.
