simple start switch ? 06 trx

ok im wanting to get rid of that gigantic light switch. Can someone explain how i would go about rigging a kill switch off a bike to be reverse wired into my 06 for a starting switch? i feel its simple i just dont want to go messing up the wiring harness

Are you keeping the lights? I used a dirtbike kill switch on my girls 400ex for a start button, but i removed the lights.

I just took off the the stock switch and found the starter wires and connected to the new switch so i could still plug it in without messing with the factory harness.

use a suzuki dirt bike kill switch.... you have to have the right type of switch. normally opened or normally closed. Google it, easy mod.

any dirt bike kill switch will work. a basic switch is around $10, fly makes a nice billet one for about $30. I used the cheap one and it works great with no issues.
