e-series pro meg

I was just wondering if the white bros, e-series pro meg will give a 400ex with a 152 main, and a 45 pilot to little back pressure?

What do you mean too little back pressure. It comes with 12 discs. They say having only 4 discs on it is just like running stock exhaust. moves the same amount of air as stock so having the 12 discs opens it up a ton. You will probably have to rejet it anyway if you put that on you quad

One of my buddies has the pro-meg on his stock 400 and it does good. He is running all 12 disks. But the guys at White Bros. told me the pro-meg was too much pipe for a stock engine, that the slip-on would work better. If you're planning on engine work get the pro-meg. If you find it doesn't produce enough back pressure for you take a few disks out.

I have a friend that put it on his stock quad and he added another 5 discs and it runs awesome. I run 18 discs with my 426 kit and it really rips.

John, Miguel 400ex is My best friend, the other kid who i told you wants to do the 416 kit. I told him what you told me about the pro meg and it was definately true, but since we are gunna get 416's i told him just to get the full system. I raced him yesterday and mine beat his. We had to get a 45 pilot instead of a 42 because moronvill cycle center was outa everything else. I think that was causin him to bog a little off the start.

my head will be here from profab so i am gonna put it together this weekend. Scott gave me a 45 pilot alos because my header was glowin. well see how it works out.

stock 400's were passin me but i had more low end. but anything past mid and you could tell the pipe was too much.
it runs 10 times better now and with the porting and xr head gasket i will see even morwe gains and might go to 16 discs. we'll see

Mine beats his all around and its a lot more snappy than his.

I think I might just put a powerbong header on mine with the e-series slip on. I dunno if i wanna shell out another 500 bucks for exhaust.:eek2:
