I prefer the puck style myself but yes they are worth it!

What are the pros and cons to the puck vs/ stick style? I want one this winter

I have a Denton "stick".....after yrs. its still real good and haven't had to rebuild it...if I ever have too I might look for a "puck". Nice thing about the "stick that is better than the "puck" is that during a race you can adjust it on the fly...well a slow down anyway, by just leaning over the bars and adjusting softer or stiffer....nice.

Puck I feel absorbs better, it has more attachment points on the frame as well.

How do you adjust these ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/honda-TRX-400EX-ccp-steering-stabilizer-damper-/271127409522?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f2073f372&vxp=mtr

should be a dial on the bottom part that adjust from 1 to 8 clicks...the "puck" style.

Ccp's don't click. It is more like a needle vavle that you raise and lower. The bonus to this is the amount of adjustment is better for fine tuning. Just turn the knob to where you want.

Do you guys think these would be good for drag racing?

I mean, have you guys noticed if they help you stay in a straight line when riding?

They make (depending on how much you adjust it) the bars harder to turn. But they also absorb impacts like running over ruts, stumps, etc.

I've never rode one on a quad but on a bike it's like a cheat code lol

EDIT: figured I'd add that the only stabilizer I've rode was the stock Honda one on my friends 2011 crf 450.
