I've seen and done alot worse....even had mine submerged. We are always in the creeks, bogs and such, and alot of xc racers are going to put you in water...water gets on wires or a little gets sucked in the intake, the 400EX will knock and spit but it'll clear out....pretty hardy motor, goin to take alot more than that to tear one up.

Yeah, that's one thing I checked before jumping off. I road around in the area right before the drop off and I was able to get plenty of traction and wheelie easily. I ended up jumping off it 4X.
