My 265 R Project

here are the before and mid way pics of my 265r...it started last year with some minor mods..and this winter i upgraded to:

herrmann +2+1 a arms
tcs shocks
pro taper bars
new maier silver plastic
fibe industry hood scoop
one industries gripper seat cover
aceribis hand guards
ported and polished 265 cylinder w/ 89 piston and base plate
37mm carb on the way
cr250r reed cage and intake
lrd pipe
new maxxis mx razrs
and some more stuff i forget


i still need to get an axle though

i had the blue metal flake, but he changed the color and it didnt match so im gettin a diff one

have you ridden it yet? if so how do you like the 265? i'm debating on a 250powervalve. I rode with nate Walsh yesterday on his brothers' practice bike...which has a 250pv. the thing has more power than most of us would know what to do with. but the reason i might go with a 265 is cuz of the price. but let me know how you like it! looks good man

Ive never been a big fan of the "R", but thats one purty machine.:cool:

i like the 265, its stock compression and the porting is only mild(i plan on doing more porting but we didnt have time) and it still rips....has a wicked powerband, i also put on a cr250 reed cage and cr250 intake with boysen carbon fiber reeds and 38mm carb with a lrd pipe..


i plan on running higher compression, doing a full race port and polish job and matching the cases..;) ;)
