I have a ricochet on my R and it was very good quality and fit. Easiest skid i ever put on. All the holes matched up perfectly........no messing around trying to get it to fit,,,,,,,,it bolted right up. I'd buy another;)

EDIT: sorry i read the thread wrong,,,,,,,what i installed was a full body skid. Never used the swing arm skid of theirs..........sorry again. Hope i helped anyway :o

ya gotta go with a prm skid, i just got mine and i couldnt beleive the quality, it is all .250 thick, but it also has many placees where it is pretty much doubled, like folding it in certain places that makes these things invincible. They may cost $85 but they are sure as hella worth it:D :D

i have a armadillo swingarm skid and i like it. The only bad part is that it comes with spacers and those are a B!tch to put in and make them stay other than that i love it.

i have one ride on my ricochet, and i beat the hell out of it, i shoulda been on a utility or somethin, i hit a ton of rocks goin pretty fast to..the sides of the skidplate are still good other than the deep scratches under it but the middle of the skidplate between where it bolts up in the rear is bent up

i'd prolly get one again, i took it thru a lot of abuse that day

There was a thread about skid plates awhile back and a guy said with the armadillo he actually bent something in his rear suspension before the skid plate gave - I actually don't know if that is really a good thing though - I think I would rather bend up a skid plate. They must be strong - I just don't know about the quality, they look poorly made compare to others. I think I'm going with the PRM, or maybe Proarmor.

i have an armidilo swingarm skid plate and it is awsome. i have hit lots of rocks and stuff and there is no dents or bends in it at all. it fit good. no spacers needed on mine. it actullay fit better then the stock one did. i recomend it to others.

the ricochet bullet (.25 version) looks like it was designed better, then the PRM, it hugs the swingarm, and has the chain guide, is the PRM .25 thick all over?

i have an Armadillo as well.

the spacer arent as hard as 93 300ex said they were. just get the front bolts started and the do the back ones one at a time. mine held up great throught the last harescramble last year. mine doest take to much of a beating though. i bought it about a 1 1/2 years ago.

I have an armadillo, and I love it. not a dent in it, and I have had it for 2-3 years now. the quality is great, it is strong, bolts on easy. and it is a great investment. I bought mine after I hit a rock with the stocker and my chain rubbed all day burning a hole right through it:eek2: The day I got it I steered for the rocks.. lol You can bounce that thing off of every rock you see and it will only scrape it up a little it wont bend. I def recomend it. as for Price I dont remember what I payed. the company was still fairly new when I bought it I think it only cost me like $65-70 brand new I dont remember though. it could have costed more
