How does a 2005 400ex dash mount? I bought one with no dash and a tether killswitch and I'm in the process of installing a dash. In the parts diagram it shows a screw going thru the center of the dash but I don't see what it screws to. Whatever it is I am missing that part and need to buy one. Can anyone post a picture of what I am missing? Thanks for all the help.

It's part #11 that I don't understand what it screws to.

Does it have the stock bars on it? If I remember right there is a tab on the stock bars with a nut welded on it for that bolt to thread into. You may have to fab one up and weld it on, or buy a Rox dash like I did.

It's got Renthal bars on it. That would explain why I couldn't figure it out because it's not shown on the parts fiche. I'll have to look into other options now, thanks a lot!

You could drill holes in the plastic dash and attach it to the bars with zip Ty's.

It mounts to a tab on the stock bars. Since you have renthals it wont work. Mount the lights into the hood or plastics somewhere or make your own custom dash.
